Awareness of this nescience chains me to the bottom of a tortured life.
I am not above that which I hate.
Scraping at the surface for meaning to fend off this feeling of ever-present hopelessness.
The realization of my faults leads me to wonder if I should correct the mistakes I make or return to blissful callowness.
The answer is always the same: I'm left to cope.
